WOW... I finished reading The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks.
The story is truly amazing. How a person is able to find true love, and to form a relationship with their father or mother that has a change in their life forever... I know that I have finally found true love, but I haven't been able to find a relationship like the character has found with her father after not speaking with him for about three years.
There are times that I wish I could come to terms with the things that my father has done, but when I think about it or try to understand it, it makes me angry and I can't seem to forgive him or myself because of it...I hope that time will bring some closure. I know that life at times seems cruel but I at least have found someone that I can share my life with and know regardless of what tomorrow brings, we will face the unknown together.
